The 3rd CCA Pharma & BioSciences Conference took place in Basel in early October and was opened by Cool Chain Association chairman Sebastiaan Scholte and Daniel Setz, SVP for global cargo operations at key sponsor Swissport

During the CCA conference in Miami we heard the views of the shipper, the forwarder and the airline on how we can improve the perishable air cargo supply chain. Since Miami is an important hub for perishables from Latin America we also had views from different logistics service providers in this important growing market.

Following up on last year's 'Pharmaceuticals in the Cool Chain' Conference, the Cool Chain Association together with EVA International hosted the second event focussing on the 'Best Practices in Cool Chain'.

The 24th of September 2013 saw the launch of the Pharmaceuticals in the Cool Chain Conference on behalf of the Cool Chain Association “a global non-profit” organisation (CCA) for the temperature sensitive supply chain sector.
